Biotin, also called vitamin B7, is one of the B group vitamins. It is normally obtained from food, and an intramuscular injection delivers it directly rather than through the digestive system.
We give the injection in clinic after reviewing your medical history. A single injection is £30 and a course of four is £100. Biotin can interfere with some laboratory blood tests, including thyroid and cardiac tests, so please tell us and your GP if you are having bloods taken.
