Before Your Skin Booster or Polynucleotide Appointment
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before treatment where possible to minimise bruising.
Arrive with clean skin and minimal makeup where possible.
Avoid strenuous exercise immediately before your appointment.
Do not stop prescribed medication unless advised by your healthcare professional.
Tell us about all medications, supplements, allergies and medical conditions.
Let us know if you are unwell or have an active infection, cold sore, skin irritation or breakout in the treatment area.
Allow time before important events, as small bumps, redness, swelling or bruising can occur temporarily.
A full consultation will be completed to ensure treatment is safe and suitable for you.
Skin Booster & Polynucleotide Aftercare
Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area for 24 hours.
Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, saunas, steam rooms and excessive heat for 24–48 hours.
Avoid makeup for several hours where possible.
Small bumps, redness, swelling, tenderness or bruising are normal and usually settle quickly.
Avoid other facial or skin treatments for 1–2 weeks, unless advised otherwise.
Use gentle skincare and daily SPF.
Contact the clinic if you experience any unexpected or concerning symptoms.
Always follow the individual aftercare advice provided by your practitioner.
Treatment may not be suitable if you:
Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Have an active infection, cold sore, inflammation or broken skin in the treatment area.
Are currently unwell.
Have certain allergies or medical conditions.
Have previously experienced a reaction to injectable treatments or their ingredients.
Are taking certain medications that may affect treatment suitability.
A full consultation and medical assessment will be completed before treatment to ensure it is safe and appropriate for you.
